Paul Andrews

Music has been a major part of my life for as far back as I can remember. As a young boy, I wanted to learn to play guitar, and with a few lessons and a lot of practice time, I got good enough to join a cover band and actually played my first gig at 15.

Since then I was fortunate to play in a couple different bands and did that for quite a few years and was also fortunate to be the opening act for groups like The Outlaws and The B.E. Taylor Group. Fast forward to now… you’ll probably see me out and about as I run a successful mobile DJ service, or on occasion, getting back together with my old band mates and running their FOH equipment.

A little over a year ago, I was bitten by the internet radio bug. I did a show for another station that lasted almost a year, til things fell apart. I was devastated for about 3 days because I really enjoyed doing it. I mean come on, playing music to people all over the world, doing interviews, which included one with Joel Hoekstra – TSO and Whitesnake guitarist.

And here we are today! I’ll be resurrecting my show – The PA System – only now I will be doing it on my own station – XStream Rock Radio.
